Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst / Senior Analyst (Contingency Hire)

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, the candidate will be responsible to support information systems analysis, development, data analysis, and evaluation. He/she will work within and inter-agency and DoD construct of Information Systems analysts to define and develop business systems. Working at the TVPO, the candidate will assist in the formulation of definitions outlining system scope, assessment of system gaps, and process improvement for the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) Defense Business systems and provide /identify metrics for consideration to ensure adherence to business system scope. He/she will also work to identify and review business processes, evaluate “As Is” processes/procedures and recommend strategies to improve efficiencies and effectiveness. He/she may also develop system certification documents, prepare presentations, and required products to fulfill requirements such as SORN, DIACAP, and IRB.

The candidate communication and presentation skills will support inter-agency operations/ formats/ settings by attending meetings; Duties at these meetings may include facilitation, meeting coordination/set-up, minutes, tracking progress on due-outs, and follow-ups in a full cycle of staffing, etc.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must hold active Secret Clearance
- Must have managerial experience, experience working within defense organizations in the Pentagon (Joint Chiefs of Staff, OSD), experience applying Operations Research techniques, and experience in project management / change management.
- Must have familiarity with SORN, DIACAP, DoD Risk Management Framework, and IRBs for supporting documentation for system certification. Resume must demonstrate and understanding of the Office of the Deputy Chief Management Office (ODCMO) and/or DoD Chief Information Officer (CIO) polities.
- Resume or background must also demonstrate and understanding of information technology, business information systems, and data sharing.
- Should have demonstrate experience (10 yrs) with briefings/presentations at Senior leader (GO/SES level), systems analysis, and document staffing.
-Bachelor's degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred.
