ESSENTIAL AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Task Leaders areresponsible to their Government supervisors for ensuring that the workassignments of the members of the task team are carried out by performing arange of duties such as:
Approveleave for a few hours (maximum of 4 hours) or for emergencies;Informemployees of available services and employee activities;Serveas intermediate travel approval authority;Signtime cards for staff within contractual authority;Giveprompt reports on crucial issues to PM/DPM, suggest answers where obtainable;Makehiring recommendations, and when possible take part in interview of candidateswhile supporting decision making to hire successful applicants; andReportto PM/DPM on performance, progress and training needs of employees, and onbehavior problems;Resolvesimple, informal complaints of employees and refer others to PM/DPMProvideinformation to PM/DPM as requested concerning promotions, reassignment,recognition of outstanding performance, and personnel needsAppraisePM/DPM of employee performance; give suggestions, reward or award punishmentand offer proposals on dismissal of personnel where applicableGeneratedraft action plans to enhance performance and productive capacity of underperformingpersonnelGENERAL FUNCTION:
Thisposition supports the SAFTAS II Program.
Provides executive administrative support, objective advice,expertise and specialized skills in support of large complex programs and thegovernment officials/directorate overseeing them. Generally has expertise in several areas such as financialanalysis, budget formulation, systems acquisition, appropriation funding,committee oversight, logistics, internal controls, workforce planning, policydevelopment, legislative analysis, strategic planning, conference organizing. Support program-specific efforts like Concept of Operations(CONOPS) development, capability Development Documents (CDD), CapabilityProduction Documents (CPD), Information Exchange Requirements (IER), andrequirements working groups. Prepares and updates operating plans, financials and budgets;coordinates with product managers, prime contractors, departments andgovernment agencies as required.Identifies and facilitates resolution of operational issues,analysis of alternatives. Recognized industry authority with advanced technical insight inmultiple fields and disciplines.Complexity of work is state of the art and new to the company and to theindustry. Serves as consultant to top management in long-range planningconcerning new or projected areas of technological research and advancements.Is instrumental in attracting/obtaining major new business. Generates position papers on broad issues affecting theprogram. Prepares briefings and reviews package for governmentofficials. Serves as senior-level billable consultant and support specialist.Support the HAF review process – Air Force Requirements OversightCouncil (AFROCs), Joint Warfighting Capabilities Assessment (JWCAs), DefenseAcquisition Boards (DABs), Congressional cycle, Acquisition Strategy Panels(ASPs), Air Force Review Board (AFRBs), Configuration Steering Board (CSB),Government Accountability Office (GAO) reports.Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicatingand coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.Establish and maintain effective professional workingrelationships with co-workers, and customers.Follow policies and procedures as described in corporate manualsand directives.Attend each work day during core hours, unless on approved travelor time off. Work flexible hours, including occasional overtime if required.Must have positive, professional attitude, ability to work wellwith all levels of military, civilian employees and customers, locally andabroad.WORKING CONDITIONS
Perform occasional travel to contractor and customer sites, asrequired.Work is performed indoors with somepotential risks to safety and health hazards related to electronics.QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills:
Recognized industry authority with advanced technical insight in multiple fields and disciplines. Complexity of work is state of the art and new to the Company and to the industry. Serves as consultant to top management in long-range planning concerning new or projected areas of technological research and advancements. Is instrumental in attracting/obtaining major new business. Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 18+ years of experience or a Master's with 16+ years of experience. Must be competent in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access).Must be able to transport self tovarious facility sites, as required. If using own motor vehicle, must possess a validdriver's license and proof of insurance.
Must possess appropriate DAWIA II or DAWIA III or equivalent certification. Must have government clearance at the appropriate level.
Physical Skills And Abilities:
