Senior Transportation Program Manager

Overview:
The selected candidate will work with SRI leadership and the Internal Revenue Service ( IRS) to ensure all subordinate regions meets business unit metrics and customers stated key results to include, but not limited to, delivery, backlog mitigation, growth, utilization, accounts receivable, employee satisfaction, team satisfaction, client satisfaction, profit, at-work revenue factor, and operating income. This position is located at our headquarters office in McLean, VA.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Ability to manage numerous Site Managers located throughout the United States Responsible for reviewing, developing and implementing regional transportation plans focused on maximizing route efficiency of transport vehicles Provides recommendations and implements business solutions designed to meet program changes in deliverables and objectives Reviews engineering documents and deliverables for compliance with contractual requirements as part of SRI's Quality Management program Ensures excellence in project execution for on-time, on-budget deliverables that meet or exceeds the customer's and/or industry's standard of services Provides support as necessary to ensure consistent project delivery meeting all contract requirements Ensures appropriate staffing and workload balance for assigned projects Attracts, develops, and retains key talent Manages available resources and staff, provides career development opportunities to support career growth for successfully delivery of projects
Minimum Required Skills, Education, Experience & Abilities:
Masters degree from an accredited graduate program in Business Administration, Transportation Management or related field or a Bachelors degree with at least ten ( 10) years of applicable transportation design and engineering experience Minimum of four years experience as a Transportation Project Manager leading organizations and systems with twenty-five ( 25) or more team members
