DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

The Logistics Support Analyst will support the Common Systems Integration (CSI) Product Office Logistics Team, located at Redstone Arsenal, AL with travel throughout CONUS and OCONUS (will not require deployment to contingency operations sites)

Specific duties and responsibilities :

Plan, develop, review, and support life-cycle logistics support strategies and documentation in accordance with AR 700-142, Type Classification, Materiel Release, Fielding and Transfer and the review of technical publications.

Provide on-site technical expertise CSI fielding and sustainment.

Supports coordination and management of logistics efforts at multiple locations, site preparation, and facility upgrades/MILCON requirements.

Provide technical expertise in integrated logistics with new equipment fielding and logistics support analysis (i.e. supports the analysis of programmatic, logistics, and technical data affecting the fielding and support of CSI and UAS systems).

Perform requirement analysis and prepares reports and briefings.

Support program and logistics reviews by providing input to decision briefs, technical and logistics working group discussions, contractor deliverables, lectures, demonstrations, seminars, and Integrated product Teams (IPT).

Monitors the Government’s current in-service equipment managed by the UAS Project Office and take necessary actions to ensure repairs and/or upgrades are coordinated and executed with minimal impact to operations.

Manages projects and fielding schedules in direct coordination with military, Government civilians and other contractor personnel as part of project work.

Maintains continuing liaison with DA/DOD agencies, activities and contractors engaged in logistics activities.

Reviews and analyzes reports for assigned systems to determine solutions to logistics problems to circumvent potential program slippage.

Manage and supports materiel tracking and input to Catalog Ordering and Logistics Tracking System (COLTS).

Provide technical support to monitor, observe, facilitate coordination and report on logistics test events and demonstration.

As required, support training related task. The ideal candidate may have demonstrated one or more of the following competencies:

Assist with warehouse operations to include receiving, sorting, packaging, shipping, and inventory and inventory control.

Manage statuses of system, spares, and personnel at fielding sites.

A comprehensive understanding of Contractor Logistic Support (CLS) Consumables to include communicating with Program Integrator (PI), Product Support Manager (PSM), and coordination with enterprise level logistics agencies to include Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), AMCOM Army Logistics Center (ALC), and the Logistics Support Activity (LOGSA). r. Knowledge of SAP applications and products experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

6 years Logistics experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or ten years Logistics experience.

Knowledge of supply chain management, sustainment training, developing logistics products and documentation to include Technical Manuals, Modification Work Orders. Knowledge of provisioning, cataloging, item introduction, supply, maintenance, transportation/transportability, and support/sustainment of system equipment.

The ideal candidate will have prior Army Aviation experience. Individual must have good organizational skills, be able to handle multiple tasks.

Must have good verbal and written communication skills and interact professionally with a diverse group of individuals. Is self-motivated, customer-focused, and possess the ability to solve problems. Demonstrated ability to work independently, plan, schedule, coordinate, and manage assigned area of responsibility with quality results.

A knowledge of logistics data bases in support CSI including COLTS, Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE), Joint Technical Data Integration (JTDI), and Logistics Modernization Program (LMP).

The logistician maintains accountability of Government Furnished Material (GFM), Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), and Customer Furnished Material (CFM) used by the program. Travel is required.

Excellent computer skills combined with a mastery of Microsoft Office.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Demonstrated performance in anticipating needs, exercising a high degree of initiative and exhibiting advanced organization skills. Demonstrated ability to achieve high-performance standards with limited supervision.

US Citizenship is required.

Must have an active Secret clearance. Selected applicants will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain and retain the designated Government clearance (Secret).
