Job Description:


The Capabilities Development and Integration Cell (CDI Cell) SME must have a thorough understanding of Joint Theater Air-Ground System (TAGS), Army Air-Ground System (AAGS), Tactical Data Links, Radar protocols and Joint Command and Control (C2) integration. The SME will leverage both current simulation and stimulation (SIM/STIM) tools and when necessary develop new SIM/STIM tools providing critical 3rd dimension to warfighter during testing, training, and exercises. The SME will provide architecture design and integration plan to interface AC2 solutions with other simulation federations such as the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) and training devices such as the Fires Immersive Trainer such as the Call for Fire Trainer (CFFT) with the Army’s Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) Mission Command Training Centers (MCTCs). The SME must be able to extend the integration of AC2 solutions into Army Division, Brigade and Battalion maneuver tactical operations centers (TOCs) and Air Force Operations Center (ASOC) providing the warfighter the ability to replicate the TAGS and AAGS in support of testing, training, and exercise support.
The SME-Senior Level (SL) provides advice and technical direction for problem solving at a high level and is a recognized expert in that area. The SME-SL may be a retired General Officer or corporate equivalent or a nationally recognized expert whose knowledge is required to solve a specific problem. The SME-SL performs analysis, requirements development, defines problems, develops and recommends solutions, conducts evaluations, performs analytical work in support of systems and or organizations, and possesses specialized knowledge and expertise in the designated area. SME-SLs are typically used for very narrow studies of relatively short length rather than for general staffing requirements. SME-ML shall have college degree(s) appropriate to the field they are offering support in, typically including MS or PhD at the “senior” level.

Experience levels are generally expected to indicate from 0-5 years performing relevant tasks for “entry level” personnel, 5-12 years for “mid level” personnel, and 12 years for “senior” personnel, but may vary based on company policies, types of jobs help, levels of responsibility exercised, and educations levels.
