Job Description

CCI provides design, test, and implementation services for critical air traffic communications to the FAA and commercial clients. The technical work involves a Eurocontrol standard ED-137, which defines requirements for the VoIP for Air Traffic Management (ATM). This project will start in early 2018 and involves qualifying and testing multiple voice communications products.

We are currently seeking a systems/test engineer to plan and oversee execution of testing. The successful candidate must have the ability to understand VoIP and SIP protocols, work with and mentor other test engineers to plan and execute the testing, assist with the analysis of data to ensure quality control, develop system architectures, perform technology trade studies, and contribute to the overall success of the project.

Qualifications

- A minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering or science from an accredited university of college (other degrees considered depending on work experience)

- Understanding of computer system software and hardware including virtual machines/cloud

- Network management

- System Testing experience

- Knowledge of telecom, networking, VoIP and SIP

- Familiarity using or developing VRTM (Verification Requirements Traceability Matrix)

- Familiarity with MOS (Mean Opinion Score) and other voice quality measures

- Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills

- Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment under strict deadlines with high standards

- Able to work and collaborate in a team environment and provide leadership within the team

- Must show proof of US residency
