Job Description
The Lead Systems Engineer will act in a lead capacity in a small technical team in support of multiple FAA air traffic systems. The systems are important components for modernizing the air traffic control system primarily for surface operations at airports. The Lead Systems Engineer will contribute to the successful fielding of these systems, including baselining requirements and design, planning and executing implementation, transitioning to sustainment/operations, and supporting test and training activities.
Qualifications
Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Science or related technical field from an accredited college.
Candidate must have a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience, with at least 3 years of prototype design and maintenance experience.
Candidate must have a clearance or be eligible to get a Public Trust.
Support for FAA NAS and/or NextGen Programs is preferred.
