Job Description

Define and develop program requirements solutions for a mission support program to include all aspects of performance, quality, life cycle costs, maintainability, reliability, scheduling, and future growth requirements.
Under the direction of management, the candidate shall perform requirements configuration management as needed for the program.

The position is intended to provide services in support of a mission support program rather than business oriented IT systems. There are mission support programs that are administrative in nature that have an active interface to the NAS that may require some of these skills to maintain and engineer the interface. The position is also intended to provide engineering service in support of Flight Standards Service activities for system safety development and implementation.

Qualifications

Systems Engineer Technical Skills - Successful candidates shall possess:
An understanding of requirements management issues and the ability to develop cost-effective solutions.Experience in full-life cycle requirements management.The technical skills to implement technical strategies.The ability to evaluate products and provide a superior level of technical support that benefit the company.Experience or domain knowledge of FAA Acquisition Management System requirements (preferred).Must have demonstrated experience in QA/QC.Experience working with senior management and policy.BPR experience.The ability to facilitate technical meetings.
BS/BA in Engineering, math, and science degrees are required.

(Senior II - Required degree + 15 relevant years)

Competent to work independently, but requires instruction and guidance in understanding the current solution implementation phase.

Familiar with FAA investment programs, especially safety programs either in ATO or AVS. Working knowledge of safety managment system (SMS) concepts, policy and processes is preferred.

Competent in MS office products, including SharePoint and Project.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

US Citizenship required.

Public Trust clearance is required. CCI will submit on the employee's behalf for employees who do not have a Public Trust.

Employment is contingent upon the approval for the Public Trust clearance.
