Job Description

The Contracts Manager position handles government contract process from "cradle to grave." Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), GSA Schedules, contract administration and subcontract administration required. Knowledge of FAA AMS (Acquisition Management Systems) a huge plus.

Responsibilities:
Prepare subcontract agreements and reports, teaming agreements and non-disclosure documentation.Analyze significant, and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and business unit procedure and communicates results effectively. Assist internal business teams on corporate goals and objectives relating to contract activity. Focal point for all communication with law, finance and business team disciplines for resolution of contract issues and disputes.Review complex solicitations and prepares specialized and/or non-routine response for proposals, bids, and contract modifications.Cost analysis and pricing of government contract proposals. Development and production of cost proposals and ensuring the timely generation of pricing submissions and compliance with solicitation requirements, government regulations (FAR) and established review/approval process.
Qualifications

Number of Years Experience Required: 10+ years experience in federal government contract and subcontracts administration

Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree in a related discipline

Required Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skillsAbility to complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentExcellent teamwork skills; the ability to work and excel independently; strong time management skillsAbility to interface with all levelsProficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPointFlexibility to wear many hats and adapt well to changeExperience in all types of contracts (T&M, CPAF, CPIF, CPFF, FFP) and cost/price analysisKnowledge of SCA, DBA, FAR/DFAR and CAS compliant requirementsUnderstand Federal schedule pricing and regulationsUnderstand DCAA requirementsFAA AMS knowledge/experience a plusNASA knowledge/experience a plus
