Responsibilities
Candidate will be responsible for development and customization of the ServiceNow platform. Applicants with additional experience administering and configuring ServiceNow are preferred. Aerospace uses ServiceNow as its primary IT Service Management (ITSM) platform and ITIL v3 as its model for ITSM practices. Candidate will assist Aerospace in implementing these practices by developing or customizing applications, processes, and workflows on the ServiceNow platform.Development duties include modifying and extending core functionality, creation of new applications, and developing and maintaining integrations between ServiceNow and other information systems.The ServiceNow team uses the Scrum agile methodology to plan and manage its work. Candidates are expected to participate in a development role in all Scrum activities and aspects of the software development lifecycle. Candidate will also work with Aerospace's ServiceNow administration team to transition developed solutions to operations and maintain those solutions.
This role can be filled at a Level 2 or Level 3
Key Functions
Design and develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform, including creation and modification of applications, forms, workflow, interfaces and any other customization required to support ITSM/ITIL processes Assist in the implementation and enhancement/customization of ServiceNow modules and features (e.g., CMDB, Knowledge, Discovery, Orchestration) based on process owners' needs Participate in the Scrum-based agile processes and meetings with the other development team members Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other information systems Build and execute test procedures and scripts, and participate in associated testing (both verification and validation) activities Contribute technical expertise to strategic and tactical planning activities regarding ServiceNow Provide advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting a variety of difficult software problems, implementing bug fixes and performing root cause analysis Communicate with managers, end users, and process owners frequently to establish requirements and guide development.

Qualifications
Required for Level 2
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent field of study, or equivalent experience Two or more years of ServiceNow development experience; additional development experience on ServiceNow or other platforms a plus Experience with configuration changes and ServiceNow scripting, including business rules, client scripts, UI policies and actions, script includes, the Glide API, and Jelly Experience developing catalog items and associated workflows Experience with core ITIL ServiceNow modules and associated ITSM/ITIL processes (e.g., Incident, Change, Request, Demand, Knowledge) and how these modules are implemented and can be customized in ServiceNow This role requires a Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Required for Level 3
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent field of study, or equivalent experience Four or more years of ServiceNow development experience with six total years of development experience; additional development experience on ServiceNow or other platforms a plus Experience with configuration changes and ServiceNow scripting, including business rules, client scripts, UI policies and actions, script includes, the Glide API, and Jelly. Experience developing catalog items and associated workflows Experience in ServiceNow Web technologies (e.g., Angular, Highcharts, HTML+CSS, XML, REST) Experience with core ITIL ServiceNow modules and associated ITSM/ITIL processes (e.g., Incident, Change, Request, Demand, Knowledge) and how these modules are implemented and can be customized in ServiceNow. This role requires a Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Preferred
Experience with advanced ServiceNow modules and associated ITSM/ITIL processes (e.g., Discovery, Event Management, Orchestration) Experience in ServiceNow Web technologies (e.g., Angular, Highcharts, HTML+CSS, XML, REST) Demonstrated experience with the software development lifecycle is required - business analysis/requirements elicitation, software & system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Experience with agile methods (particularly Scrum); Scrum experience, training, or certifications ITIL v3 certifications (e.g., Foundations, Expert) Training or certifications on ServiceNow development or administration Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members Ability to work in a team environment
