Responsibilities
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be able to provide both broad and specific technical expertise for the planning, conops, requirements, acquisition, development, and operations of the full scope of Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Missile Warning systems in support of the Space Warfighting Construct. The current SBIRS program of record and next-generation OPIR systems encompasses a full scope of TT&C, mission management, mission data processing, data dissemination, interfaces with C2, Resilient Enterprise Ground (REG), Enterprise Ground Services (EGS), and other external data interfaces such as the Joint OPIR Ground (JOG) capabilities. Technical analysis, technical depth, and OPIR expertise is necessary; from up-front systems engineering and architecting, concepts of operations, capability and requirements development to enterprise capability/system architecting, and analysis. The effort will include identification, development and recommendation of concepts, alternative concepts, evaluation of alternatives with respect to meeting the objectives and risks.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Applicable technical degree and space and/or technical related experience L3 = BS in applicable technical field, MS a plus, with 12 years relevant experience
The successful candidate will have the following:
Experience with planning and operational requirements for DoD and/or IC OPIR capabilities Experience with architecting and development of complex space systems Experience with programming and planning Experience with development and integration of operational requirements Experience with systems engineering of complex problems Demonstrable writing and briefing skills Demonstrable technical leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills Experience working on and within Government, FFRDC, SETA environments Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and to work complex problems without clear point solutions Current TS/SCI required
The following are value added skills/capabilities:
Experience/expertise with existing DoD OPIR architecture, conops, operational requirements, acquisition, and operations Experience leading teams to successful conclusions Experience with leading complex integration activities SAP/SAR accesses
