Responsibilities
The Space Superiority Division (SSD) supports our USAF customer, SMC/SY, in the development, delivery, operations and sustainment of unrivaled space control capabilities to guarantee space superiority for our nation. These programs include the Geosynchronous Space Situational Awareness Program (GSSAP), the Space Based Space Surveillance Program Follow-On (SBSS FO), and the Counter Communications System (CCS). This position is to provide technical support for satellite bus and launch systems integration for The Geosynchronous Space Situational Awareness Program (GSSAP) Office. Provide interface to the satellite contractor for SV accommodations and processing and launch program office (SMC/LE). Liaison to GSSAP counterpart (USAF Major). Inform decisions related to acquisition and mission planning and keep corporate and customer management informed of activities. Support mission assurance activities and corporate reviews.

Key Functions
Lead launch vehicle integration engineering support for GSSAP system, to include interaction with contractors, SMC/LE and launch site personnel and facilities Space vehicle payload accommodation and bus integration support Work directly with government customers and contractors to provide technical support to system requirements, design, test, interfaces, and risk management Lead application of mission assurance standards and risk assessment processes in support of risk mitigation activities using best practices, analysis methods and associated tools Support mission processing and day of launch operations at the launch base

Qualifications
Required Qualifications for Level 2
Minimum of 8 years of experience B.S. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related technical discipline Launch integration and/or Launch systems infrastructure experience Knowledge and experience with EELV and New Entrant fleet and capabilities Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate risks; and analyze systems interfaces (ground processing, mission processing and infrastructure) Ability to travel ~25% of the time required Current SSBI Top Secret clearance This position requires TS/SCI and ability to obtain other clearances and pass counterintelligence polygraph
Required Qualifications for Level 3
Minimum of 12 years of experience B.S. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related technical discipline Launch integration and/or Launch systems infrastructure experience Knowledge and experience with EELV and New Entrant fleet and capabilities Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate risks; and analyze systems interfaces (ground processing, mission processing and infrastructure) Ability to travel ~25% of the time required Current SSBI Top Secret clearance This position requires TS/SCI and ability to obtain other clearances and pass counterintelligence polygraph
Preferred
Advanced technical degree Mechanical, Electrical engineering degree or licensed Professional Engineer Systems engineering experience (requirements, development, test) Proven ability to work with minimum supervision and interact effectively with the Air Force, SETAs, other FFRDCs, and contractor personnel Familiarity with the SSD counterspace activities Demonstrated oral and written communication skills Experience building teams and effectively utilizing the ETG matrix Experience with iMAT and executing the Corporate Mission Assurance Process
