CDI is seeking an Information Assurance Analyst, SR for Cyber Security Support Services (CSSS) for the Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division (NAWCWD) This is a Full Time position in Pax River, MD/Norfolk, VA. This position is available for contingent hire GENERAL DUTIES:
Constant monitoring of applications and hardware to evaluate for any unusual activity. Ability to reduce damages and patch software from cyber threats. Create and set up systems that prevent cyber threats. Analyze network architecture and data to determine what updates and patches are needed. Audit the entire network to assess security and need for improvements. Capable of performing tasks independently. MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's degree in computer science or other technical field and a minimum of seven (7) years' experience in the planning, implementation, upgrading, and/or monitoring of security measures which make up the protection of corporate or government computer networks OR an Associate's degree and ten (10) years' experience. Experience in DoN and DoD-relevant areas is a plus. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
Applicant will be subject to a security investigation. This position may require an additional background screening for base access. Applicant must have a Secret clearance issued by the US Government and be Top Secret eligible. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
CARRYING and LIFTING. Ability to transport and lift up to 30 lbs. Employee is required to access remote areas of multi-level vessels Must comply with Company's Driver Safety Policy if assigned to operate company and/or rental vehicles
