Job Description:
TASK DESCRIPTION: The Engine Noise Suppression Facility Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for the Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance at the engine run facility at Ahemed Al Jaber Air Base in Kuwait. Reports directly to the Intermediate Level Power Plants Lead.
TASK REQUIREMENTS:
Establish Scheduled maintenance cycle for the Engine Noise Suppression Facility in accordance with the Kuwait Air Force 4790 series manual Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the facility as required Perform replacement on diagnosed faulty electrical elements of machine including motors, relays, switches, fire control panels and facility fuel systems Perform diagnosis and correct or replace malfunctioning electronic units Perform diagnosis and ensure replacement of pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic and fuel system components Assist the Engine Noise Suppression Facility (Hush House) Operator/Maintainer in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues with the Engine Noise Suppression Facility Record all Maintenance actions on the Engine Noise Suppression Facility in GOLD ESP Organize safe maintenance principles for regulating and scheduling maintenance Assist the Engine Noise Suppression Facility Subcontractor with Annual inspections and unscheduled maintenance as required MINIMUM PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of four years experience as a Facilities Electrician is required Journeyman Electrician or higher or Military equivalent Have a minimum of five years of outstanding troubleshooting and technical aptitude Ability to read and troubleshoot systems via schematic and electrical, diagrams/illustrations Knowledge of electrical hangar doors and louvers is highly desired No security clearance required
