Ironclad Technology Services LLC, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business has an immediate opening for a PL/SQL Oracle Developer to join our growing company in Virginia Beach, VA. Due to the nature of the work, only U.S. Citizens will be considered for this position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• PL/SQL code support for existing Oracle database packages/procedures/functions/triggers/views
• Primarily support existing applications for bugs/enhancements
• Direct interaction with clients to finalize requirements for bugs/enhancements
• Provide database support for front-end development teams
• Adhere to existing coding standards
• Enhance code for maintainability/reuse
• Participate in code reviews
• Perform thorough unit and integration testing
• Document client testing procedures, and support client testing
• Adhere to existing Configuration Management process
• Support code release to multiple development, test and production instances
• Effectively communicate status to development team/management
SPECIFIC TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• 7+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL in an Oracle database environment required
• Experience maintaining database code across multiple development, test and production environments required
• Experience with Oracle Reports and/or Oracle Discoverer a plus
• Experience providing database support for a J2EE development team a plus
• Experience providing database support for a BI development team a plus
• Experience with CVS or Subversion a plus
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science, IT, or similar technical discipline
• Minimum of 7 years of Oracle PL/SQL Development experience
• U.S. Citizen with Current or Active Secret Clearance; must have the ability to maintain clearance
• DOD-8570 IAT-II Certification (CompTIA Security+)
