Ironclad Technology Services has an opening for a Database Developer in Virginia Beach, VA to join our growing company. Due to the nature of the work, only U.S. Citizens will be considered for this position.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES:
• PL/SQL coding support for existing Oracle database packages/triggers/views
• Provide database support for front-end development teams
• Adhere to existing coding standards
• Enhance code for maintainability/reuse
• Participate in code reviews
• Perform thorough unit and integration testing
• Document client testing procedures, and support client testing
• Adhere to existing Configuration Management process
• Support code release to multiple development, test and production instances
• Effectively communicate status to development team/management
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
• One Year of Experience with Programming, manipulating and querying data using PLSQL and SQL.
• Working Knowledge of database front end tools like Toad for Oracle, Toad for MySQL, and MS SQL Server Management Studio
• Familiar with basic RDBMS concepts
• Flexible and able to learn new skills/technologies quickly
• Work well in both team and self-managed environments
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree with one year of relevant experience
• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain the security clearance required for position
• DOD-8570 IAT-II Certification (CompTIA Security+)
