Job Description:

Virginia Heart, one of the area's largest cardiology practices, is seeking an IT Administrator to help support the IT function for this state-of-the-art medical practice with 9 locations throughout the Northern Virginia area.

This role requires strong technical skills and experience to support a medical practice of approximately 320+ end users and has a significant management interface component, requiring joint strategic solution identification and business case justification. Business systems include a number of medical-related health care systems in addition to standard MS business productivity systems. Responsibilities include maintaining existing system and supporting upgrades/patching as needed. The person in this position works collaboratively with a team of IT and healthcare applications specialists.

Requirements:
•Degree in IT/IS or related experience
•Basic understand of Routing/Switching (Cisco experience preferred).
•SAN experience (Nimble and Netapp)
•3 to 5 years of virtualization experience; specifically with VMWare to support the environment; VCP a plus
•Proficient Microsoft Backoffice/Server skills (Windows Server 2008 – present)
•Strong Understanding of Microsoft Desktop Operating System (Windows 7 / Window 10)
•Experience and knowledge surrounding and pertaining to AD, Group Policy use and Policy Deployment,
•Experience with Exchange Administraton,
•Experience with SQL (administration a plus),
•Experience with Backup Solutions (VEEAM a plus)
•Experience with Server Class Hardware (HP a plus)
•Cisco IPT experience preferred (Call Manager, Unity Connection, UCCX, Scripting a plus)
•Visio experience a plus
•Excellent and consistent technology troubleshooting skills
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills; technical writing experience a plus
•Ability to work outside of regular business hours and weekends on an on-call basis
•Proven ability to meet deadlines
