PRIMARY DUTIES
From an Enterprise Architecture point of view: perform complex systems development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, model formulation, software development & implementation projections, computer architecture analysis, design & forecasting.
-Work with senior leadership in the development of overall data vision, roadmap and implementation strategy
-Work with the customer to solve business problems leveraging available technology including hardware, software, databases, and peripherals.
-Design and define system architectures for new and existing systems and processes
-Perform systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
-Develop documentation on new or existing systems
-Assist in identifying and solving problems per reporting / viewpoint analysis
-Collaborate with other functional leads in data extraction, gathering and modeling via processes, procedures and related Enterprise Architecture implementation needs.
-Liaison with the customer, participating in meetings and collaborative sessions, as needed.
-Use various types of office automation to includes Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, Project and Access).
-Identification and Documentation of as-is and to-be architectures
-Creation of technology Roadmaps
-Support development of new standards, stated directions, and guideline
-Presentation of engineered solutions with a focus on articulating how each aspect of the solution directly relates to solving the clients technical or business needs
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
-5+ years of experience of which at least 3 years DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF) specialized
-Specialized experience includes: participation on or lead of a technical project delivery team; use of specific design methodologies and design tools; facilitation of workshops with subject matter experts (SMEs) for information gathering; experience with the logical and physical, functional, operational, systems, and technical architecture of complex information systems
-Hands-on experience generating DODAF models/artifacts
-Experience facilitating sessions with business users to generate As-Is and To-Be Business Process models
-In-depth knowledge of DODAF 2.0, the architecture requirements and the inter-relationships of their components
-Expert in at least one architecture information management software tool
-Hands-on experience generating, reviewing and analyzing DODAF models/artifacts
-Ability to obtain a DOD SECRET security clearance
-Per client requirements, US CITIZEN ONLY
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
-Experience with DOD Data Architectures models—specifically, Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA)
-DODAF, FEA and/or TOGAF certification
-Experience with ARIS business process modeling tool (also used for EA development)
-DOD EA compliance and governance processes experience
-Fit-for-Purpose diagrams authoring
-Experience in Army Contract Writing System (ACWS) or like business processes and systems
-Familiarization with DOD 5000.02 / 5000.75
-Familiarization with Agile development principles
-JIRA & Confluence experience
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
