Lynch is actively seeking CPA Financial Managers for professional opportunities to grow our firm serving the Washington D.C metro area.
Security Requirement: Must have or be able to obtain a secret security clearance

Availability requirement: 60 to 90 days required to accommodate interview/hiring process

Responsibilities
Successful candidates will establish a vibrant partnership with our Defense Agency and Military Service clients to provide high-impact consulting in support of late-stage DOD FIAR activities. You will work directly with our clients to perform analysis, provide guidance and recommendations, and directly assist the government to master a high-visibility audit readiness program. You will collaborate with exceptionally sharp, motivated, colleagues and team partners to perform meaningful tasks.

Qualifications
Current Certified Public Accountant licenseA minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience related to audit, accounting or financial management, program management, or business process improvement; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferredBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems Management preferred from an accredited college/universityStrong analytical skills, including: analyzing large data sets, trend analysis, identification and resolution of risks and issues, developing mitigation plans to address identified risksKnowledge of and experience with working with DoD Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) or Financial Improvement Program (FIP) guidanceExperience preparing financial statements and/or performing financial statement auditsExperience with General ledger closing cycle, inventory control management, and/or treasury and financial reportingKnowledge of OMB circulars and bulletins, GAAP, FASAB, FAR, and/or USSGL requirements/guidelinesFederal audit and remediation experience as an employee of an Independent Public Accounting (IPA) firm, Office of Inspector General (OIG), or the General Accounting Office (GAO) preferredDesired Certifications: CGFM, CDFM, PMP, CISAStrong MS Office Suites experience
