SAIC is seeking a Project Manager for Qatar site to execute electronic security systems projects that include access control, intrusion detection and CCTV systems to protect critical assets for our Government customers in tactical environments. Candidates must have electronic security systems experience. It is expected that the Project Manager will travel 50% to project sites.

The Project Manager shall be responsible for managing and coordinating all project activities with DoD customer. This shall include responsibility for overall project performance within quality, budgetary and schedule guidelines. The Project Manager shall identify and recommend objectives and scope of technical projects and shall communicate goals, scope, approach and schedules to assigned personnel.

The Project Manager shall manage project level budgets, forecasts manpower, equipment and supply needs. Additional responsibilities include planning, organizing, directing, and tracking all aspects of subcontracted work and material supplies. Project Manager will interface with task and functional leaders, subcontractors, support personnel, customer and upper management. As a primary customer interface, Project Manager must be able to listen to and understand customer expectations and concerns, and assure customer project is being executed effectively. Candidate will be required to:

• Develop, review and recommend technical solutions to support field tactical security requirements throughout Southwest Asia AOR.
• Develop designs and installation plans for Tactical Automated Security Systems (tasks) and associated IT networks, systems and support equipment.
• Establish security systems installations procedures and support field installation teams.
• Keep a current inventory of all GFE and contractor furnished equipment located through the AOR.

Required Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree applicable to the design, development, and installation of physical and Electronic Security Systems, a minimum of six years of technical experience relating to physical or electronic security system projects, and five years of project management experience. Must possess a valid U.S. passport and be willing to work in high risk areas.

Desired Education and Experience: A Master's degree in a related discipline and PMP certification.
