Description:

SAIC is seeking a Technician to perform design and installation of electronic security systems that include access control, intrusion detection and CCTV systems to protect critical assets for our Government customers in tactical environments. Candidates must have electronic security systems experience. It is expected that the Technician will travel 80% to project sites in tactical environments.

The Technician must be able to design and install electrical, data-communications, RF, computer, and electronic security components and systems. Must be able to listen to and understand customer expectations and concerns, and assure customer project is being executed effectively. Candidate will be required to:

• Develop, review and recommend technical solutions to support field tactical security requirements throughout Southwest Asia AOR.
• Develop designs and installation plans for Tactical Automated Security Systems (TASS) and associated IT networks, systems and support equipment.
• Establish security systems installations procedures and support field installation teams.
• Keep a current inventory of all GFE and contractor furnished equipment located through the AOR.

Required Education and Experience: Must have a high school diploma and a minimum of three years of technical experience in installation, testing, and maintenance of electronic systems. Must possess a valid U.S. passport and be willing to work in high risk areas.
