The Operations Intelligence and Security BU has an opening for an Intelligence analyst/planner in a Battlefield Coordination Detachment (BCD) operating in a Joint Air Operations Center (JAOC) to provide in-depth and sustained intelligence analysis, production, operational support, liaison, and bilateral coordination in direct support of designated classified OPLAN’s and contingency operations. These mission-critical intelligence functions are in direct support of PACOM and USARPAC mission priorities across USPACOM’s Area of Responsibility. Their tailored intelligence will assist in the validation of Army Forces (ARFOR) air support requests, prioritization of theater air assets and provide coordination of current and future operations between the ARFOR and Joint Air Operations Center (JAOC). Additionally, they will provide a much needed level of operational continuity with subordinate elements, components, national intelligence agencies and bilateral partners in theater.

Serves as an intelligence officer in a Battlefield Coordination Detachment (BCD) operating in a Joint Air Operations Center (JAOC). Given access to OPLANS, OPORDS, Current database and targeting priorities from the ARFOR, the Joint Force Air Component Commander (JFACC) planning documents and planned requirements for theater air assets, the intelligence analyst/planner will support the intelligence section in support of current and future operations.

Requirements: Bachelors degree and a minimum of six years genuine all-source intelligence analysis experience. Four years additional experience or equivalent formal military training can be substituted for the bachelor’s degree.

Graduate of an Intelligence Captains Career Course or equivalent experience; Maintain a current TS/SCI clearance; Maintain the ability to deploy worldwide in support of contingency operations; knowledge of joint and combined operations; Familiarity with Air Operations Center (AOC) operations; Ability to attend the Air and Space Operations (AOC) Initial Qualifications Training (IQT), Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Course; Be familiar with FM 3-09.13 and the Battlefield Coordination Detachment (BCD); Understand the collection management process and know the capabilities and limitations of ISR platforms.
