Are YOU ready for your Next Mission? <br><br>Our National Security Global Business is currently seeking a Sr. Aviation/Engineering CBRN Analyst. This position is located in Dahlgren, VA. <br><br>The selected individual will provide high level subject matter expertise, and serve in an array of strategy development and integration roles relating to aircraft major defense acquisition programs (MDAPs). Individual will serve as the Deputy to the Aircraft Survivability Product Director under the Joint Program Executive Office (JPEO) for Chemical/Biological Defense MDAP Trail Boss. This position functions as a technical advisor, representative, and liaison to participating Service organizations. Job activities include development of program integrated master plans, oversight of acquisition and engineering documentation, and integration and coordination of processes across internal and external stakeholders. <br><br><br>THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION: <br>- Must have a BS Degree or equivalent in an Engineering discipline (mechanical, chemical, electrical, etc.) <br>- 20+ years of military Aircraft/Aviation operations, acquisition, engineering management <br>- Experience leading and providing strategic direction for military defense acquisition program (s) <br>- Experience participating in DoD Joint acquisition and fielding programs <br>- Understanding of aircraft CBRN survivability requirements <br><br>THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION: <br>- Army aviation background and experience <br>- Certified Defense Acquisition Level III Professional in one of the following acquisition career field/paths: Program Management or Systems Planning, Research, Development and Engineering. <br>- Professional Engineer’s License <br>- Technical, engineering, and program knowledge and experience specific to CBRN Aircraft Survivability <br>- Familiarity with Apache and RQ-7 UAS aircraft programs <br>- Master’s Degree in technical or managerial subject area <br><br>BENEFITS <br>Battelle’s competitive benefits program includes comprehensive medical and dental care, matching 401K, employee pension, tuition reimbursement, work/life balance, paid time off, flexible spending accounts, disability coverage, and other benefits that help provide financial protection for you and your family. <br><br>Battelle is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer and supports diversity in the workplace.
