Are YOU ready for your Next Mission? <br><br>Our National Security Global Business is currently seeking a Senior CWMD Nuclear Analyst. This position is located in Arlington, VA. <br><br>Provide senior level technical and analytical support in the area of Combating/Countering Weapons of Mass destruction (CWMD) - Nuclear to Department of Defense clients. Provide high level technical and analytical support that will more effectively prepare DOD to prevent, protect against, and respond to the use of nuclear weapons. Responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of various CWMD related projects and initiatives. Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and execute daily duties with minimal supervision. Write for and brief a flag officer level audience. <br><br>Travel will be required on a periodic recurring basis. <br><br><br>THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION: <br><br>• Graduate level science or engineering degree <br>• Minimum of 15 years experience in a Nuclear related field; physics, energy, etc <br>• Minimum of 10 years experience of the current concepts and capabilities of DOD and other U.S. government agencies for deterring, detecting and defeating the global threat posed by weapons of mass destruction (WMD) <br>• Minimum of 10 years experience of the at the DOD joint and Interagency level working CWMD policies and strategies <br>• Familiarity or expertise with associated and state of the art analysis tools and methods <br>• Ability to excel in complex situations, which require a high level of analytical, interpretive, evaluative and/or constructive thinking, to consolidate input from diverse sources and produce clear, concise reports, summaries and recommendations. <br>• Possess an active DOD TOP SECRET (SCI eligible) security clearance. <br><br>THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION: <br><br>• Doctorate in Physics or Nuclear related field <br>• Published author in Nuclear or CWMD – Nuclear topics <br>• Extensive DoD, Intelligence Community and Interagency background <br>• Familiarity or expertise with JCIDS process <br>• Minimum of 10 years experience in the area of Combating/Countering Weapons of Mass destruction (CWMD) - Nuclear. <br>• Familiarity with Joint Staff processes and procedures. <br><br><br>BENEFITS <br>Battelle’s competitive benefits program includes comprehensive medical and dental care, matching 401K, employee pension, tuition reimbursement, work/life balance, paid time off, flexible spending accounts, disability coverage, and other benefits that help provide financial protection for you and your family. <br><br>Battelle is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer and supports diversity in the workplace.
