The Operations Intelligence and Security BU has an opening for a Requirements Manager at the Air and Space Operations Center (AOC) on Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii.

Position Description: The selected candidate will provide training support to users of the Theater Battle Manager (TBM) systems at a USAF Air Operations Center (AOC). Primary focus will be on training AOC users on TBMCS-FL. Trainees will include newly assigned personnel as well as experienced staff members working in operations, plans, intelligence and logistics disciplines. Responsibilities of the Force Level User Trainer will be to design, organize, develop, coordinate, and conduct training for operational users of TBMCS. As part of routine duties the Trainer shall modify training curricula and materials to incorporate site-unique training requirements, and use existing government workstation facilities to conduct hands-on training in both a classroom and one-on-one settings. Additionally, the Trainer shall develop and administer written and practical student examinations and evaluations as part of a certification program to monitor trainee progress and proficiency. Technical training support may be required during military exercises and deployments to other locations throughout the Pacific Area of Operations.

Required Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years prior experience working in DoD/USAF Command and Control Centers, preferably in the Pacific theater or two (2) or more years experience as a plans, operations or intelligence action officer/NCO working with TBMCS in an Air Operations Center (AOC) or Joint Air Operations Center (JAOC) and participation in major operational exercises preparing Air Tasking Orders (ATOs), Airspace Control Orders (ACOs) and Target Nomination Lists (TNLs). Substitution of experience for educational requirements - 8 years related experience, or four years related experience and an Associate’s degree may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.

Desired Education & Experience. Prior experience as an instructor teaching technical subjects; employing computer workstations as a training tool, developing curricula and training aids and preparing/administering examinations. Instructor experience may have been in an academic or military environment
