· Directs the completion of tasks within estimated time frames and budget constraints. Schedules and assigns duties to subordinates with subcontractors and ensures assignments are completed as directed. Enforces work standards and review/resolves work discrepancies to ensure compliance with subcontract requirements. Provides advice and guidance regarding the development, planning, and exercise execution
· Coordinate with appropriate USAF EC offices, outside organizations, and exercise participants with the design, development, and execution of exercises to support training objectives
· Establish Master Scenario Events List (MSEL)
· Schedule planning conferences to include reserve facilities and ranges for planning conferences/ranges required for exercise
· Coordinate scenario through appropriate USAF EC organizations and exercise evaluators
· Attend meetings, script reviews and after action report meetings
· Ensure updates are posted on appropriate web pages to keep participating units informed
· Take lead for exercise planning conferences (initial, mid-, final); provide written summary of results and limiting factors
· Ability to utilize and interpret Deliberate and Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments (DCAPES) Program effectively
· Have comprehensive understanding of military tactics, techniques and procedures for deployment of forces
· Review appropriate Concept of Operations (CONOPS), or Concept Plans (CONPLAN), Operation Plans (OPLAN) and other appropriate directives to determine training objectives and realistic scenarios
· Establish/coordinate exercise training objectives
· Solicit tactics, techniques and procedures from USAF EC experts and incorporate into scenarios and training aids
· Prepare/assist with preparation of briefing materials, in MS PowerPoint format
· Conduct periodic review and revise scenarios and training aids based on training needs as directed
· Provide crisis action planning support during execution of and design of exercises
· Ensure scenarios can be completed within available sites (knowledge of land use planning and DoD force protection guide)
· Experience with Air Force training issues/practices
· Determine/assist unit finance representatives with budgeting required for conference/exercise
· Assist unit with managing schedules, resources, cost and quality in accordance with planned estimates and objectives
· Identify problems; determine accuracy and relevance of information; use sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
