Are YOU ready for your Next Mission? <br><br>Our National Security Global Business is currently seeking a Medical Counter-Chemical-Biological-Radiological-Nuclear (MC-CBRN) Analyst. This position is located at the Air National Guard (ANG) Readiness Center, Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland. Primary job responsibilities will include the following: <br><br>Training - Develop, coordinate and execute a comprehensive ANG MC-CBRN training and exercise plan. Research current issues and prepare items to augment and supplement existing materials with recent lessons learned or late-breaking events. Accomplish on-going review of course content and recommend improvements in educational materials and supporting visuals. Plan for upcoming instruction requirements and presentation of new materials in future units of instruction. Coordinate and plan for post-course evaluation where appropriate. <br><br>Budgeting and Logistics - Assist in construction of annual spend plan, recommend reprogramming of resources as needed. Assist response team chiefs in procuring and managing resources used to sustain required supply and equipment levels. Provide input for monthly status of funds report for ANG/SGX leadership. <br><br>Planning - Conduct/assist with ANG Medical Group (MDG) MC-CBRN staff assistance visits (SAVs) or program reviews. Assist in validating ANG and MDG compliance with all Dept of Defense and Air Force MC-CBRN requirements. Provide input for written reports and follow through to ensure objectives and corrective actions are in compliance with written directives and policies. Review and provide guidance on Wing medical contingency response plans to support AF Incident Management System (AFIMS) and National Response Framework objectives. Assist in the integration of Emergency Management (EM) and MC-CBRN support across the Command. Identify significant program issues through appropriate channels. <br><br>This position is based on project funding. <br><br>THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION: <br>- Knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods to participate in the assessment and improvement of Command-level plans and programs for conducting major operations, such as exercises. <br>- Knowledge of DOD and AF CBRN and EM doctrine, principles and policies. <br>- Knowledge of program analysis functions including planning, programming, budgeting, procurement, medical logistics, and resource management. <br>- Ability to work well within a more complex group dynamic and lead assigned working groups. <br>- Skill in developing, synthesizing and conducting comprehensive studies, and preparing solutions to resolve substantive problems. <br>- Ability to plan, organize, communicate, advocate, and negotiate effectively with senior analysts and management to accept and implement recommendations where proposals involve substantial resources, and require extensive changes in established concepts and procedures. <br>- Ability to communicate complex issues effectively orally and in writing; negotiate and work through complex issues; and maintain positive and professional working relationships. <br>- Knowledge of emergency management and MC-CBRN response principles, practices, procedures, and requirements, to include National Incident Management System and AFIMS. <br>- Knowledge of MC-CBRN and EM training and equipment requirements. <br>- Four years’ related experience in disaster preparedness/medical EM. <br>- Requires access to classified DoD information and must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Secret security clearance. <br><br>Major Command level or higher staff experience is desirable. <br><br>BENEFITS <br>Battelle’s competitive benefits program includes comprehensive medical and dental care, matching 401K, employee pension, tuition reimbursement, work/life balance, paid time off, flexible spending accounts, disability coverage, and other benefits that help provide financial protection for you and your family. <br><br>Battelle is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer and supports diversity in the workplace. <br><br>For more information about our other openings, please visit www.battelle.org/careers.&nbsp;<!-- This Custom Tag will format the specified text to safe HTML --><!-- This line is required so that the tag only gets executed once -->&nbsp;
