Are YOU ready for your Next Mission? <br><br>Our National Security Global Business is currently seeking a Principal Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Analyst. This position is located in Arlington, VA. <br><br>JOB DESCRIPTION <br>Responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of various CBRN defense related projects and initiatives involving Counter proliferation, Passive Defense, Consequence Management, force protection, and homeland defense across the DOTMLPF spectrum. Pull together input from diverse sources and produce and present clear, concise summaries and recommendations. Provide technical support to assist the client with identifying CWMD material and non-material capability gaps. Maintain both formal and informal communications and relationships with client including responsibility for reports and presentations. Develop white papers and proposals to support studies and analysis projects. Lead major technical or analytical projects with minimal guidance within time and cost constraints. Achieve high technical quality in project activities and deliverables. Contribute to project development activities. Participate and report on coordination meetings. Communicate project results to clients and appropriate professional community. Lead or assist project work in areas of technical competence and expert analysis of on-going and potential programs. Apply advanced principles and concepts to develop highly creative solutions to complicated problems. Plan and carry out appropriate self-development activities. Train other staff members in various aspects of technical activities. <br><br>THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION: <br>• Post graduate degree with 5 years experience or BA/BS degree in a related field with 10 years at Major Commands (MACOM/MAJCOM or equivalent), Service Headquarters, the Joint staff, or Commandant Commands in CWMD plans, operations, and assessments. <br>• Active DoD T/S Security Clearance <br>• Possess proven ability to excel in complex situations which require analytical, interpretive, evaluative, and constructive thinking. <br>• Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously and execute daily duties with minimal supervision. <br>• Ability to write for and brief a senior leader level audience. <br>• Ability to develop courses of action. <br>• Ability to problem solve by risk reduction. <br>• Ability to advise clients on advance technical studies and applications. <br>• Ability to mentor and lead junior staff. <br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications. <br><br><br>THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION: <br>• MA/MS Degree with 10 years experience at Major Commands <br>• Experience in operational requirements /capabilities development and integration using the JCIDS process <br>• Experience in POM development and execution <br>• Experience in analyzing doctrine, organizations, and leadership, material, and manpower requirements in CWMD operations <br>• Experience in proposal writing <br>• Ten or more years experience in planning and operational support to DoD components <br><br><br>BENEFITS <br>Battelle’s competitive benefits program includes comprehensive medical and dental care, matching 401K, employee pension, tuition reimbursement, work/life balance, paid time off, flexible spending accounts, disability coverage, and other benefits that help provide financial protection for you and your family. <br><br>Battelle is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer and supports diversity in the workplace. <br><br>For more information about our other openings, please visit www.battelle.org/careers. <br><!-- This Custom Tag will format the specified text to safe HTML --><!-- This line is required so that the tag only gets executed once -->
