The SAIC Operations, Intelligence, and Security Business Unit currently has an opening for a GMII/MDA Planner in Suitland, MD.
POSITION SUMMARY: Support ONI in managing projects related to identifying, understanding, organizing, representing, analyzing, codifying, presenting for decision, and strategically disseminating intelligence-related tasks and actions. Provide direct planning, facilitation, administrative, plans, policy, and management support for Navy Maritime Domain Awareness. Provide expert support on strategy, policy, and technical solution development relative to ONI participation in the overall Navy Maritime Domain Awareness Program.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: -Provide senior consultancy support and advise on latest maritime domain awareness tasking and task management, developments and issues. -Meeting coordination and information dissemination services to include: developing draft agendas, briefings, record meeting minutes some facilitation and meeting set-up functions, post meeting information updates to senior level officials and others. Track and ensure completion of action items received during meetings. Assist with coordinating and monitoring of project financial obligations and execution reports and briefings. -Phasing allocation forecast planning and development of financial briefs. -Program planning pursuant to managing, monitoring and accomplishing program budgetary goals. Develop metrics program, plans and policy relating to program developments as well as coordinating collaboration between customer, Navy and inter-agency efforts. -Conduct research and develop documents that reflect stakeholder’s positions, make recommendations to achieve consensus. -Assist in developing program plans and policy relating to participation in collaborative inter-agency efforts.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: -7-10 years prior military and or Interagency experience in intelligence. -Have a general knowledge of the national intelligence community, Inter-Agency, Naval intelligence, Fleet intelligence and operations (current and strategic capabilities developments in each). -Ability to think and write at college level and with clarity of purpose and have advanced skills in transferring ideas and related visual concepts via MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; 3-5 years experience. -2-3 years researching, developing, and coordination of plans and policy documentation.
Education: Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent formal military training.
