The SAIC Operations, Intelligence, and Security Business Unit currently has an opening for a Biometrics / Identity Intelligence Analyst in El Paso, TX.
Position Responsibilities: The Biometrics / Identity Intelligence Analyst working as a member of a government-contractor team supporting the U.S. Coast Guard in El Paso, TX. Work will be performed in El Paso, TX; however some travel will be required. The Biometrics / Identity Intelligence Analyst performs the functions of an analyst; helps develop standards for research and report writing; reviews intelligence reports and performs production editing for grammar and content; performs research validation; and mentors junior analysts. The successful candidate will make recommendations on policy changes to streamline operations and advise on the impact of new policies, requirements and priorities. The incumbent will attend production and development meetings. Duties include preparing in-depth intelligence reports for senior officials and military services, briefing senior officials, providing reports and input to intelligence community products directed toward the highest levels. The successful candidate will support production of targeted GMI analyses utilizing innovative biometric collection methods. The successful candidate may be required to propose new or revised analytical methods and projects in the areas of biometric analytical collection and operations methods and other identity management techniques. This is a supervisory position. Weekend shift work is required.
Education: A Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent formal military training. Successful candidate must have skills equivalent to 4+ years of analytical experience and must have formal service training as an intelligence analyst.
Required Skills: All applicants for this position must be US Citizens who possess at least a current TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance to be considered for employment. All applicants must be highly qualified intelligence analysts who possess a minimum of 4+ years of experience in national or command intelligence. Applicants must possess a working knowledge of the intelligence cycle and the all-source intelligence fusion process. Applicants must be capable of empowering subordinates, and be knowledgeable of business process development and possess a working knowledge of human resources. The successful candidate will be proficient in the use of intelligence analysis tools and databases, including Pathfinder, Biometric Automated Toolset (BAT), M3, and others. The successful candidate will possess knowledge of the principles, concepts and techniques of identity management analysis, combat forensics and related general military intelligence; knowledge of a wide range of GMI and identity management principles, techniques and methodologies; knowledge of the Biometric Analytical mission and administrative policies and objectives; knowledge of the mission and functions of CITP stakeholder and cooperating activities in order to define critical intelligence operational issues for specialty area.
Desired Skills: The successful candidate will be able to use significant resourcefulness to develop and test innovative methods for planning collections operations; resolving technical issues in situations where data is incomplete, the technical area is in a state of rapid development, and solutions to operational problems require significant deviation from accepted methodologies.
