Description:ARAMARK Healthcare is seeking a Data Quality Analyst for a large teaching hospital in Chapel Hill, NC. This is a complex and fast-paced operation of 800 licensed beds. Two new hospitals will be opening in the next 5 years with over 1,000 licensed beds. This is one of the best Top 50 Hospitals in America.
Under minimal supervision/direction, this person will work with Technology Managers, Supervisors and Technicians to resolve data quality challenges and drive continuous and measurable data quality and management improvements. The ideal candidate would be a Biomedical Technician or Clinical Engineer with demonstrated desire and ability to work with data and computerized maintenance management systems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop a thorough understanding of data flow and application across multiple systems.
· Perform continuous data quality monitoring using advanced SQL queries and provide actionable reports identifying root causes for errors, trends, and systematic problems.
· Work with all levels of Technical Staff to design, document, and implement processes that will facilitate and improve data acquisition and validation from multiple sources.
· Using database knowledge and quality assurance experience proactively identify areas for data quality improvement and develop appropriate error detection and correction tools.
· Develop detailed timelines for improvement efforts based on accepted metrics and communicate progress/status timely and effectively
· Add operational and business value by designing new applications of existing data.
· Work with decision makers (Directors, VPs, Managers, and Clients) to adopt and support proposed changes/improvements until they are successfully implemented.
· Write and present technical reports that take into consideration the specific perspective and expertise of the intended audience.
· Work effectively with ARAMARK's and client's IT departments to troubleshoot and support multiple networking hardware and software infrastructures.
· Support departmental efforts to deploy and maintain wired and wireless medical equipment networks.
· Perform other related duties incidental to the position as needed.
EDUCATION: BS Degree in Biomedical/Clinical Engineering preferred
Position requires analytical, organizational and communication skills
Additional IT specific training desirable.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 4 years working with medical equipment data and demonstrated familiarity with a broad spectrum of healthcare technologies and equipment. To be considered for this position the candidate must be able to satisfactorily answer the following questions based on previous work experience:
