Job Title: Software Engineer

<P style="MARGIN: 0px" mce_style="margin: 0px"><font style="FONT-SIZE: 12px; FONT-FAMILY: Times New Roman">The individual filling this position will be responsible for the design, code, unit test, and integration of java applications that interact with and control real-time, interrupt driven embedded control applications.</font></P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px" mce_style="margin: 0px"><font style="FONT-SIZE: 12px; FONT-FAMILY: Times New Roman"></font>&nbsp;</P> <P style="MARGIN: 0px" mce_style="margin: 0px"><font style="FONT-SIZE: 12px; FONT-FAMILY: Times New Roman">A typical development environment for this position uses PowerPC (G4) processors running under the VxWorks or LINUX operating systems, with real-time software applications written in Java and/or C/C++.<br><br><br>Basic Qualifications: <br><br></font><font style="FONT-SIZE: 12px; FONT-FAMILY: Times New Roman">The following are required for this position:&nbsp;</font></P> <ul> <li><font style="FONT-SIZE: 12px; FONT-FAMILY: Times New Roman">B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent. </font> <li><font style="FONT-SIZE: 12px; FONT-FAMILY: Times New Roman">5 or more years experience in developing java application client and server software.</font> <li><font style="FONT-SIZE: 12px; FONT-FAMILY: Times New Roman">Java programming experience including the development of web based applications.</font> <li><font style="FONT-SIZE: 12px; FONT-FAMILY: Times New Roman">Familiarity with open source software and tools is desirable.</font> <li><font style="FONT-SIZE: 12px; FONT-FAMILY: Times New Roman">Some exposure to database applications including reporting tools is desirable.</font></li></ul><DIV style="MARGIN: 0px" mce_style="margin: 0px"><font style="FONT-SIZE: 12px; FONT-FAMILY: Times New Roman">Other Requirements: <br><br> <DIV style="MARGIN: 0px" mce_style="margin: 0px"> <ul> <li id="">US Citizenship is required for purposes of obtaining/maintaining a US government security clearance.&nbsp; A current TS/SCI clearance&nbsp;is required for this position.</li></ul></DIV><br></font></DIV>
