Job Title: Software Engineer

Description:

The individual filling this position will be responsible for the design, code, unit test, and integration of java applications that interact with and control real-time, interrupt driven embedded control applications.

 

A typical development environment for this position uses PowerPC (G4) processors running under the VxWorks or LINUX operating systems, with real-time software applications written in Java and/or C/C++.


Basic Qualifications:

The following are required for this position: 

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 5 or more years experience in developing java application client and server software.
  • Java programming experience including the development of web based applications.
  • Familiarity with open source software and tools is desirable.
  • Some exposure to database applications including reporting tools is desirable.
Other Requirements:

  • US Citizenship is required for purposes of obtaining/maintaining a US government security clearance.  A current TS/SCI clearance is required for this position.
