Job Title: Senior Engineer - Tech Support

<span style="LINE-HEIGHT: normal"><STRONG>SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES</STRONG><br>This position is in the Surface Ship &amp; Flight Systems Program Support unit of the Systems Engineering Department. This position will be in the Strategic Flight Business Area and will support the Integrated Product Team (IPT) with the execution of technical work scope. This position will be responsible for the definition of technical scope for proposal efforts, documentation of detailed Statements of Work (SOW), coordination of effort estimates and review of hours against required technical tasks. Additional responsibilities include review and analysis of engineering metrics, identification of issues, supporting Preventive And Corrective Action (PACA) analysis and the definition and implementation of corrective action plans. <br><br>This position will also support the engineering team in: <br>- transitioning the engineering design to production <br>- the preparation of System and Services Development(SSD) measures to be reported in the monthly Engineering Technical Reviews (ETR) <br>- the creation and maintenance of control account plans <br><br>Specific duties include coordination of material for the Strategic Flight business group including working with the technical team to identify required material and making sure the required material is procured in time to support the engineering builds.<br><br><br>The successful candidate will be required to provide solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work will be completed under general supervision. Will primarily interface with internal, company contacts. There will be infrequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts on routine matters.<br><span style="LINE-HEIGHT: normal"><br><STRONG>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</STRONG><br>A Bachelors degree in a technical discipline with two years of related experience or a Masters degree in a related discipline is required.
