Job Title: System/Network Administrator

<STRONG><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Specific Responsibilities:</span></STRONG><br><span style="LINE-HEIGHT: normal"> This position provides operational ground support for mission critical systems. Acquires, installs, maintains, operates, uses and tests multi-user computer and server environment on a LAN. Demonstrates a working knowledge and administration skills with operating system platforms including: UNIX, LINUX and Windows. Interacts with Network Services, Software Systems Engineering, Applications or Database development teams to restore service and/or identify and correct desktop problems. Develops software scripts to enhance productivity<br>Provides technical, operations and training support. Performs hardware diagnostics, coordinates repairs and makes recommendations for systems modifications. Provides personal computer support systems planning, design, installation and testing. Has experience with Remedy ARS, Desktop Support and/or Help Desk procedures. Ideally has one of the following technical certifications: MCSE, MCSA, A+ or ITIL Foundations. Configures and installs system hardware and software<br>Maintains and updates equipment inventory, documentation and procedures. Evaluates and installs new patches and performs system backups and restore systems from backups and logs. Assigns and maintains user profiles and accounts. Monitors network activity and troubleshoot network outages<br>Performs hardware installation and troubleshooting. Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of Microsoft SMS, Microsoft WSUS, and McAfee e-policy orchestrator. Verifies testing LAN and Server administration.
