Description:

The employee will provide continuous support to Release team in the engagement, training and execution of CM tools and processes. The employee will be the senior CM resource who will lead a team of JR CM’s and mentor accordingly.

1. Provide support, training, and execution of Configuration Management tools and processes.
2. Define structure of repositories and components, merging (delivery/rebase) of code, creating and recommending baselines, managing CM controlled branches (streams), establishing and reporting Configuration Status Accounting reports for CM team and Defect Review Board.
3. Provide mentoring to JR resources.
4. Develop processes and work with existing customer processes and procedures.
5. Ability to bring forth experiences from multiple engagements; prior customer interaction and should be able to communicate with Customer on a daily basis.
6. Engage and train Release team with CM tools/processes.
7. Establish, recommend, promote and report status of configuration baselines.
8. Supervise merge activities at all levels (test, release, integration, build).
9. Provide 1st Tier technical support of ClearCase, ClearQuest, BuildForge, RequisitePro Report to CM team – status of Release-level CM activities, problems encountered, and suggested improvements.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• A valid U.S. Driver’s License.


Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution plus three (3+) plus years of experience.
• Three plus (3+) years of Project Management or Consulting experience is required.


Computer Skills
• Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
• Two plus (2+) years Rational, Rational ClearCase, or Rational ClearQuest experience is required.
• One plus (1+) years of experience in at least three (3) of the following areas: Java, J2EE, SQL, Oracle, SOA Architecture, IT Government, Systems Administration, Rational RequisitePro, or BuildForge.

• Minimal BI

During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
