Summary:
Sr. Logistician enhances product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans and technical documentation that affect the inventory of Integrated Electronic Security Systems (IESS). Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and Life Cycle Supportability to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost. Individual must be familiar with standard logistical elements and concepts, practices, and procedures.  Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

1. Provides onsite support to end-users during projects by following project management methodology.
2. Conducts and participate in ILS and IPT assessments, which focus on in-depth analyses of process, standards, technology, and organization.
3. Prioritizes and recommends best-practice improvements for ILS elements required within the Integrated Electronic Security Systems Sustainment Program
4. Develops, tracks, and performs analysis on maintenance performance metrics.
5. Participates in site surveys for potential new IESS equipment installations/de-commissioning/relocations, upgrades and transfers.
6. Develops standard operating procedures.
7. Participates in strategic planning as directed by PM and government counterpart.
8. Participates in Configuration Change Boards and Configuration Management Processes.
9. Conducts process improvement and organizational development procedures.
10. Must have knowledge of ISO requirements and develop processes in accordance with the same.
11. Review and comment on IESS technical documentation as required.
12. Maintain accurate list of equipment locations, types of equipment deployed, trend and failure data.
13. Participate in various meetings for IESS logistics support as required.
14. Provide support for testing and acceptance of IESS equipment
15. Develop Logistics Support Plans as required.
16. Other duties as assigned.

Supervision:
Sr. Logistician may oversee duties of subordinate personnel as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

o A valid Driver’s License.
o Travel may be required on a regular basis, as directed by the appropriate government representative or Program/Project Manager.

Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor's degree plus individual shall possess a professional certification - i.e., Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certified in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics- Level 1 or have equivalent logistics training (resume to specify all equivalent training) OR possess an additional two (2) years working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics.
• Six (6) years experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support (or 8 years if not DAWIA Level 1 certified of electronic systems, to include: logistics management, principles, practices, and processes.  Of the required 6 years, individual shall have four (4) years of demonstrated skills, to include: Analyzing Engineering / Systems Management Data, Developing Logistics Plans and procedures, and Developing Logistics Management Plans and Guidelines.

Computer Skills:
• Must use Microsoft Office Suite of tools to include MS Visio and MS Project
• Must use Navy CIMS/Remedy database
• Must use SPAWAR CnE portal

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Clearance:
• Must possess ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. Top Secret/SCI desired.
• SOLE-CPL Certification a plus
• PMP certification a plus
• Current U.S. Passport
