<span class=TEXT id="Specific Responsibilities:"><STRONG>SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES</STRONG><br>The Program Quality Engineer will be responsible for Program Quality planning per GDAIS common processes and customer process requirements. This entails identifying the best in class quality standards and processes for GDAIS that pertain to a program/product and determining how to apply and satisfy these standards and processes. This will require working with the Quality and Process organizations at all Strategic Business Units and the AIS Integrated Process and Quality organization. In addition, this individual will support design and production activities, internal and external audits, process improvement activities, and other Quality initiatives.<br><br><STRONG>Responsibilities</STRONG><br>Review contractual documents and flow down the requirements to the Quality Plan.<br>Define what quality requirements have been imposed and how they will be met.<br>Identify the quality standards and processes that apply to a program or product and determine how to apply and satisfy these standards and processes. (This includes Hardware, Software and Systems Engineering efforts as well as Production.)<br>Generate and document Quality and Quantitative Management Plans.<br>Develop quotations and define staffing levels for proposed projects.<br>Provide project management, tracking and reporting for all assigned projects.<br>Participate in external audits (ISO 9000 and TPME) as required.<br>Identify, prepare, and retain quality records.<br>Participate in reviews (hardware, software, systems) in the development phases to evaluate adherence to the applicable process and engineering standards for Integrated Product Development and Production.<br>Perform surveillance of hardware, software and systems testing to ensure conformance to test plans procedures. <br>Perform audits of problem reporting and corrective action functions to ensure completeness, accuracy and closure.<br>Identify and select subcontractors capable of meeting quality requirements, including the appropriate flow down of requirements.<br>Perform Quality Management System audits IAW ISO 9001 and customer defined requirements (T9001B)<br>Perform Quality planning, change control, material review, trend analysis IAW all internal corporate policies and procedures, customer defined requirements (T9001) and customer approved processes (Ordnance Documents – ODs)<br>Support program planning and execution in support of business goals of being CMMI Level 5.<br>Support CMMI, Process Improvement, Six Sigma and Quality Improvement initiatives.<br><br><STRONG>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS<br></STRONG><span class=TEXT id="Basic Qualifications">Education/Experience: <br>Bachelors degree, in Engineering discipline with five years related experience or Masters degree with three years related experience or equivalent work experience<br><br>Experience with industry and customer Quality Management Systems<br><br>Other Job Requirements:<br><br>Must be able to gain multiple security clearances as necessary (Secret, Top Secret, SBI, etc.) and would require either an active secret clearance or the ability to obtain a secret clearance within 9 months of hire.<br><br>100% compliant mindset<br><br>Ability to interact with internal and external personnel at all levels on quality matters often requiring coordination between organizations (primarily internal to ICS and GDAIS).<br><br>US citizen <br><br>Must be willing to travel as required (10-20%)<br><br>Demonstrated change agent<br><br>Effective written, oral and presentation communications skills<br><br>Demonstrated ownership and ability to meet commitments<br></span><br><STRONG>REQUIRED KEY SKILLS</STRONG><br><span class=TEXT id="">Coordinate telecoms/meetings<br></span><span class=TEXT id="">Excel<br></span><span class=TEXT id="">Microsoft-Word<br></span><span class=TEXT id="">MS PowerPoint<br></span><span class=TEXT id="">MS&nbsp;Office &nbsp;&nbsp;<br></span><span class=TEXT id="">Preparation of Presentations<br></span><span class=TEXT id="">Preparation of reports and graphs <br></span><br><STRONG>REQUIRED CLEARANCE:</STRONG>&nbsp; Secret<br><br><STRONG>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</STRONG><br><span class=TEXT id="Preferred Qualifications">Familiarity with Six Sigma, ISO 9001:2000 Standard, T9001, SEI Capability Maturity Model – Integrated (CMMI) <br><br>Experience with government/military specifications and systems<br></span><br><STRONG>PREFERRED KEY SKILLS<br></STRONG><span class=TEXT id="">Configuration Control Board process<br></span><span class=TEXT id="">Earned Value Mgmt<br></span><span class=TEXT id="">Expert presentation skills<br></span><span class=TEXT id="">MS Project<br></span><span class=TEXT id="">Root Cause Analysis<br></span><span class=TEXT id="">Six Sigma <br></span><span class=TEXT id="">Telelogic DOORS</span><br><br></span>
