Job Title: Software Engineer

The individual filling this position will be responsible for the design, code, unit test, and integration of signal processing applications that interact with and control real-time, interrupt driven embedded control applications.

A typical development environment for this position uses PowerPC (G4) processors running under the VxWorks or LINUX operating systems, with real-time software applications written in Java and/or C/C++.

• US Citizenship is required for purposes of obtaining/maintaining a US government security clearance.  A current TS/SCI clearance is required for this position.
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, EE, or equivalent
• 5 or more years experience in developing embedded signal processing applications utilizing java and/or C/C++ or 5 years experience in developing java based web applications.
• Must have either strong Java programming experience including the development of web based applications or strong embedded control and real-time programming experience.

• Some exposure to database applications including reporting tools is desirable.
• Familiarity with open source software and tools is desirable.
