Description:<p style="margin: 0px; font-family: yui-tmp;">Primary responsibility for conceiving and
developing new signal collection solutions in a Matlab environment,
including developing end-to-end signal environment simulations, and
associated algorithms and processing to detect, identify, geolocate,
copy, and demodulate signals-of-interest.</p><p style="margin: 0px; font-family: yui-tmp;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px; font-family: yui-tmp;">Candidate
will function as lead algorithm engineer on one or more specific
technology development thrusts. Candidate will work in a collaborative
environment with other algorithm engineers and will have access to an
existing algorithm toolbox from which candidate may draw elements of
the simulation and overall solution, making modifications as needed. </p><p style="margin: 0px; font-family: yui-tmp;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px; font-family: yui-tmp;">Areas
of development include algorithms and signal processing for signal
detection, identification, co-channel separation by adaptive
beamforming, copy, DF, and geolocation. Most work will be performed in
Matlab, to develop, test, and refine algorithms through Monte Carlo
simulation and subsequently on real data. </p><p style="margin: 0px; font-family: yui-tmp;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px; font-family: yui-tmp;">Customer
interaction will also be required, including composing and presenting
briefings and reports as program deliverables, and supporting marketing
and proposal efforts. The position will also require interaction with
system and software engineering to successfully migrate new algorithms
and methods into existing collection systems.</p><p style="margin: 0px; font-family: yui-tmp;"></p><p style="margin: 0px; font-family: yui-tmp;"></p><p style="margin: 0px; font-family: yui-tmp;"><strong>Basic Qualifications</strong>:
