Description:Position Requirements/Criteria: Candidates should have at least three years of experience supervising and/or managing a CSSAMO operation of similar size and scope to this project. A current Secret (or higher) Security Clearance is required. Specific CSSAS experience working with SARSS-1, SAMS-1/2/E, ULLS-A/E/S4/G, PBUSE, SAAS-MOD, and/or AMS is required. Instructor experience with any of the aforementioned systems is highly desired. Experience with CSS-VSAT, CAISI, TAMMIS, and/or MC4 is a plus. Additional periods of management and leadership involving automated systems supporting DoD operations is also a plus.
Position Description: Primary Functions: Manage and supervise CSS software support to CSG subordinate units and other units in the CSG support area which do not have organic software support capability. Ensure that Analyst provide Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) technical support and desk-side training for STAMIS operators; analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve STAMIS problems and configure the STAMIS to PM-LIS specifications. Oversee the testing of STAMIS processes (queries, reports, print functionality, and import/export functionality, etc.) and ensure the system is fully mission-capable. Manage efforts to create help desk tickets in the trouble reporting system documenting who is requesting support, what the stated problem is, when the problem first became known, where the STAMIS is physically located, what unit the STAMIS is assigned to, the unit point of contact; the actual problem once identified and the problem resolution. Ensure that Analyst perform backup of customers’ STAMIS data files prior to performing work on the system, provided the system’s hard drives are not mechanically damaged to such a point that data cannot be backed up, and restoring the unit data prior to returning the STAMIS back to the customer. Manage efforts to add STAMIS systems to the network domain and relevant Microsoft Active Directory organizational unit(s), if applicable; load ICP/SCP, trouble shooting systems, isolating software and hardware problems; assist customers in evacuating unserviceable equipment to the FRA for hardware support; and, coordinate visits to remote worksites to load SCP and ICP packages. Lead and coordinate efforts to perform formal classroom refresher and sustainment training to operators and leaders in the AOR on various STAMIS.
