Job Title: Application Administrator

The candidate's primary responsibility will be to provide administrative/engineering support to server side information support applications across a UNIX (primarily) and windows environment. Additionally the candidate will perform some software engineering duties including PL SQL scripting, system performance tuning, and engineering level troubleshooting.  The candidate should have DB reverse engineering experience to understand application specific database function.

REQUIREMENTS:

A high level government security clearance
5 years of related experience.  
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or related discipline) or 7 years experience in application, database, or system administration

Working, and practical, knowledge of Oracle Database administration functions, database structures and design; Develop and maintain scripts and programs for data exchanges and interfaces with external systems;  Coordinate format requirements for data interfaces with mission critical systems; Technical POC for interface PL SQL query requests; Provide monthly status to the Technical POC; Provide metric reporting to client management; Provide monthly status to the Team Lead; Demonstrated user-centered service philosophy.

Working knowledge of UNIX operating system functions and commands; PL SQL scripting; Provide technical analysis and implementation support for system and functionality upgrades;

Desirable Skillset:
• Hands on SW administrative experience
• Ability to function as part of a administrative support team
• Ability to provide after-hours on-call support.
