Job Title: Senior UNIX Administrator/GCCS Administrator

Responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Solaris 8 through Solaris 10 operating system servers and workstations, including Weblogic servers, in support of business processing requirements.
 
Possess GCCS 4.x knowledge of information system applications to ensure that the appropriate controls, information assurance parameters exist, and that system procedures are in compliance with corporate standards.

Perform operating system cluster patch updates and GCCS segment installations and upgrades

Conduct routine hardware and software audits of workstation and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.  Document updates in GCCS Standard Operating Procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

A current high level government security clearance
5 years of related experience.  
Desired Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or related discipline).

Desirable Skillset:
• Ensure workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions. 
• Knowledge of building Windows XP client workstations using Norton Ghost software and installation and configuration of Java software incompliance with GCCS standards.
• Knowledge and exposure to currently deployed US Navy systems.
