Job Title: Senior Windows System Engineer

<P>Functional Responsibility: <br>Performs design, installation, administration, troubleshooting, and support of LAN operating systems, servers, and applications. Oversees development and implementation of system specifications, designs, integration, testing, and documentation. Develops risk management and mitigation strategy. Ensures compliance with QA standards. </P> <P>Specific Responsibilities:&nbsp; <br>Senior Systems Engineer supporting USSOCOM’s SAP networks.&nbsp; The incumbent will provide day-to-day systems engineering support for SAP command networks.&nbsp;&nbsp; He/she will be responsible for management of all SOCOM’s&nbsp; SAP servers.&nbsp; This includes installing, maintaining, configuring, and troubleshooting all versions of Windows operating systems and server applications such as Exchange, IIS, SMS, SQL, SharePoint.&nbsp; Individual will also maintain COTS server applications such as HP OpenView, Symantec products, NetApps, VMware, EMC.&nbsp; Familiar with advanced Active Directory tools and services.&nbsp; (Ability to define concepts of&nbsp; Active Directory, global catalog, LDAP, group polices, sites and services, domains, organizational units, and trusts.)&nbsp; Working knowledge of DNS, WINS, TCP/IP, networking concepts – routers, firewalls, gateways, and switching concepts – looking for knowledge of tools – ping/ipconfig/ tracert/nbtstat/telnet/nslookup/portqry – used to troubleshoot connectivity problems. </P> <P>&nbsp; <br>- Provide full range of customer service support. <br>- Review data requirements and recommend system changes to support them. <br>- Good communications skills (oral and written).</P> <P>Requirements:</P> <P>A current high level government security clearance and must have an SAP Screen is required for this position.<br>10 years of experience in information technologies work. <br>In-depth experience in one or more of the following technical areas: <br>&nbsp;&nbsp; Systems S/W design, <br>&nbsp;&nbsp; H/W integration, <br>&nbsp;&nbsp; S/W development, <br>&nbsp;&nbsp; configuration management, <br>&nbsp;&nbsp; Quality Assurance, <br>&nbsp;&nbsp; System requirements, <br>&nbsp;&nbsp; integration, <br>&nbsp;&nbsp; networking, <br>&nbsp;&nbsp; tactical<br>&nbsp;&nbsp; communications, and security</P> <P>Fulcrum IT is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
