What you'll do:
Lead and support ongoing development, provide regular performance feedback for team of Learning Coordinators and large team of on-the-floor trainersIdentify needs or gaps in learning process and in consultation with Operations TeamsDesign training and development programs based on the organizational needs in consultation with Regional Learning ManagerRecruit and observe team of on the floors trainers for process trainingConduct train-the-trainer sessionsConduct Leadership trainingFacilitate courses or learning sessions with all process job roles and with Leadership as neededTrack all training conducted across shifts and areasMaintain daily communication with Operations, HR, Recruiting and other teamsConduct remediation training as neededMaintain knowledge of operation processes for ongoing assessment of the training processPerform other duties as assignedWhat you'll need:
BA, BS or equivalent experience4+ years of successful training experience and demonstrated proficiency in delivering and creating training2-4+ years leading a team within a training/learning, HR or similar function2-4+ year in Operations or process improvement roleProficiency in computer usage, email, MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, Outlook)Understanding of fulfillment/distribution center/warehouse processes and flowWell-developed observational and analytical skillsEffective verbal and written communications skillsAble to work flexible schedules / shifts as needed for 7 day operationProven skills for planning daily/weekly tasks and adapting to competing demandsStrong skills developing relationships across all levels and functionsMust be willing to travelBonus:
Instructional design using ADDIE, TWI model, or similarFacilitation / presentation skillsAbility to work in a fast paced distribution environmentMust be self-motivated and able to work in a team-oriented environment with an emphasis on total customer satisfactionDetail oriented and accurateAbility to focus attention on detailsAbility to prioritize, manage and complete projects with tight deadlinesFamiliarity with process improvement methodologies such as LEAN or Six SigmaThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
