As a Medical Office Assistant with UHS, you will work in a strong team environment and perform secretarial and clerical duties and assisting with all clinical activities and patient care protocols, including:

• Pre- and post-visit assessments (weight, blood pressure, heart rate, pulse oxygenation).
• Maintaining medical records according to policies.
• Performing accurate documentation in patient's chart.
• Accurate registration and scheduling.
• Appropriate routing and completion of incoming patient messages and appointment reminders.

UHS will provide you with the necessary supports to excel in this role and prepare you with the skills and knowledge for you to pursue future growth opportunities within our system.

We are also offer Tuition Forgiveness of $6,000 if you come to us within one year of graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program.

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited secondary medical assisting program or 2 years of clinical experience in a medical office or hospital setting.
