Position Description -- The Army Enterprise/Institutional Adaptation effort is tasked with assessing and analyzing the current decision making and operational systems involved in generating Trained and Ready Forces for Combatant Commanders and then developing a more efficient and effective enterprise approach to Army Force Generation. One Senior Military Analyst will be assigned to work within ALT. The Senior Military Analyst will be required to fully understand the organization, mission, and operational systems and requirements of the office with which they are working and represent the ASA interests and objectives in the planning, analysis, and development of the Army Enterprise approach. The Senior Military Analyst will be a recognized and respected as a functional expert in ALT. The Senior Military Analyst will work for the Director of the Army Enterprise Task Force in the National Capital metropolitan area. The Army Enterprise Task Force Director will be a Lieutenant General reporting to the Secretary of the Army and the Chief of Staff of the Army.
Requirements -- Candidates for senior analyst positions should have a minimum of 15 years of military service with at least the following specific requirements: six years experience at the Corps staff level or higher, four years specific experience in the office for which they are nominated or other relevant Army Staff position, three years of experience for the force management analysts in the Force Development/Force Management Field, must hold a Masters Degree in a relevant field of study and be a graduate of the Command and General Staff College or equivalent.
