Description:DDL OMNI Engineering is currently seeking a Field Engineer II to support our Simulation and Systems Division, with installation, troubleshooting, repairing and/or testing of major shipboard systems and equipment. The position resolves such issues as determining the location and density of circuitry, evaluating electromagnetic radiation, isolating malfunctions and incorporating engineering changes. Responsibilities include exercising independent judgment in the performance of various tasks; and using complex test equipment, such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers and complex computer control equipment. This is a great opportunity for a motivated Field Engineer II to participate in a team environment and make an impact immediately.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, engineering or a technical discipline and 5 years experience; or military/technical certification school and 10 years experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills Required: Detailed expertise of the system/equipment being serviced and experience must be associated with the design, test installation, modification, repair, and/or logistic support in one of the following disciplines:
The requirement for full-time experience precludes concurrent experience on more than one system/equipment unless they are all equivalent in complexity and maintenance philosophy.
This position requires the ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
