Description:Assist the customer by having responsibility for design, implementation, and administration of Server Suite, storage array and desktop systems. Design and document enterprise IT systems in accordance with the DOD Architecture Framework as desired. Assess and eliminate vulnerabilities by applying patches and adhering to IAVA requirements as directed. Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational problems. Define project scope, plans, and deliverables including cost projections and proposed implementation dates. Create systems infrastructure documentation and information/technology plans based on an understanding of the organizational strategic direction, technical and business needs. Develop logical architectural designs and specific physical designs per the technical specifications / requirements. Maintain detailed system documentation including installation instructions, build of materials (BOMs), monitoring specifications, and physical installation media. Conduct or participate in the research, design and development of information processing hardware and/or electrical components, mechanisms, materials, circuitry, equipment or processes. Coordinate with Program Office on security and testing procedures. Maintain proper software and hardware program configuration management. Coordinate with equipment providers (e.g., CISCO, Dell) to implement warranty plans and technical solutions as required. Coordinate with Program Logistics Support for procurement of additional resources. Experience Required: Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all areas of IT Infrastructure including: Server configuration, SAN/NAS, Networks, VMWare, and Exchange. Must be able to provide Systems Administration and Engineering support to customer on Microsoft Windows Server 2003, MS SharePoint Office Server, Oracle 10g, SQL Server 2005, VMWare, BEA WebLogic and Microsoft Windows XP in an unclassified, collateral and JWICS environment. Security Clearance Requirements: Current, active TS/SCI Education & Training: Bachelor of Science Degree with 5 years experience in computer related field. Additional Information: Must be willing to travel for extended periods of time. Ability to work in team environment. Must be willing to work overtime.
