Description:


Support the customer as liaison between the program office and the supported customer sites.  Must possess a firm grasp of Intel mission operation, information technology management and knowledge management.  Responsible for collaborating with IT Engineering SME as part of two person team providing onsite support and linkage to Program Office in the National Capital Region.  Will also be responsible for maintaining the DCGS Integration Backbone (DIB) Portal server and identifying Intel data feeds for ingestion into the User Defined Operational Picture (UDOP)/Common Operational Picture (COP).  Must be comfortable briefing high level government officials and making recommendations for the incorporation of new tools and techniques into customer’s operational construct.  Will collaborate with representatives from other governmental organizations, contractors and government officials to accomplish mission.  Multi-task to ensure both routine and joint urgent operational needs are met in a timely and effective manner.  Stay abreast of current technology and operational situation to provide subject matter expertise to DoD customers.  Must be able to conduct formal and informal training of tools and methodologies.


 


Experience Required:


6-12 years experience with relevant experience in one of the current theaters of operation.  Possess an understanding of large database structures to include Oracle, SQL, and others.  A thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and working knowledge of Google Earth software is required. Possess strong execution and problem solving skills and the ability to operate in an independent environment.  Broad understanding of operations and have experience working directly with a military operational command.  Must also possess mission-focus and passion for contributing to the global war on terrorism and the present fight in OIF/OEF.


 


Security Clearance Requirements: Active current TS/SCI


 


Education & Training: BS in Computer Science or Information Technology Management (other technical degrees with appropriate technical experience will be considered).


 


Additional Information: TDY/Deployment may be required.
