Description:Provide project and acquisition management and system integration support for the US Coast Guard National Security Cutter (NSC) program, focusing on naval engineering and ship design issues. Review engineering change proposals and ship design calculations for the NSC. Draft and review ship design specifications. Review and conduct technical analyses of the ship design and integration issues. Make recommendations regarding ship and ship class modifications. Attend and represent CG-932 at technical working group meetings and IPTs. Develop and maintain ship development schedules. Draft and present briefings. Experience Required: Naval engineering / naval architecture / ship design experience required. Experience with USCG Integrated Deepwater System program and/or Coast Guard surface assets a strong plus. Security Clearance Requirements: Top Secret Education & Training: BA/BS Special Skills/Knowledge: Professional Engineer license desirable We offer competitive compensation and benefit packages.
